An elegant pair of Edwardian garnet drop earrings. These stylish earrings have old cut almandine garnets mounted in rose gold suspending a quatrefoil garnet 'flower'. The garnets are joined by oval links and the earrings are finely made typical of the Edwardian era. The garnets are a beautiful colour and are well matched. These lovely earrings have post and butterfly fittings for pierced ears. They have beautiful movement when worn and a contemporary feel despite being over 100 years old. Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920 Measurements: Earrings 3.5 cm in length, 1.2cm at widest point Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests as 9ct rose gold with yellow gold posts.
