A wonderfully wearable topaz necklace from the Edwardian era.
 
This beautiful piece has an old cut golden (imperial) topaz hanging from a diamond laurel leaf bar suspended from an old cut diamond top. The pendant hangs from a simple platinum trace chain.
 
The topaz is a wonderfully rich warm yellow colour and is mounted in a fine yellow gold coronet bezel. The diamonds are all mounted with platinum onto gold typical of the Edwardian era. 
 
The necklace has its original bolt ring clasp fastening.
 
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Golden Topaz estimated 1.4 carats,
total diamond weight estimated 0.25 carats.

Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as platinum and gold, chain platinum.
