Edwardian Golden Zircon & Diamond Cluster Ring circa 1920

SKU RG225
Price

£1,950.00

An unusual golden zircon & diamond cluster ring by Alabaster and Wilson.

This lovely antique ring has a central golden zircon surrounded by an outer border of 6 small diamonds in a stylised cluster design. The zircon is in a six-claw setting while the geometric outer border is crafted from platinum with a milgrain edge.

The head of the ring has a fine yellow gold scalloped underbezel. The ring has tapered shoulders with a grooved detail that flows onto a yellow gold shank.

Typically Edwardian in design, the ring is low-set to the finger and finely made.

As zircon is a slightly softer stone than some others, we would generally not advise this type of gemstone being worn for heavy wear. The ring is perfect, however, as a 'dress' ring and a fabulous accessory with so many outfits, from jeans to the little black dress.

Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920

Ring Size: K½ (UK) 5 ¾ (US) 51(EUR). This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost, but with some restrictions due to the design
