A stylish Edwardian black opal ring.
This lovely ring has has a wonderful oval black opal in an elegant fine rubover setting.
The ring has a low set bezel with chenier detailing open to the reverse onto a slightly tapered plain shank typical of the era.
The opal is a fabulous colour with a strong play of blue and green colour strongly saturated throughout. The ring is in excellent condition.
As opals are softer gemstones than many others, this ring is not recommended for 'heavy' wear.
