A beautiful Edwardian opal solitaire ring.
The ring has a large cabochon opal finely mounted in a 6 triple claw set mount open to the reverse with a low plain bezel.
The ring has tapered shoulders onto a plain shank and is very low set to the finger typical of the era.
The opal is a lovely colour with a good play of 'fire'. As opal is a softer stone we would not recommend it for 'heavy' wear. We are happy to discuss suitability further - just get in touch.
