Edwardian Peridot & Pearl Pendant / Brooch c.1905
A classic Edwardian peridot and pearl pendant/brooch.
The pendant has a central oval peridot set within a Art Nouveau styled half pearl scrollwork design.
There is a further oval peridot to the base which hangs freely.
This feminine piece has a brooch fitting to the reverse and a detatchable pendant bale allowing it to be worn on a chain or as a brooch.
The peridots are beautifully matched and are finely set in a coronet settings with the pearls grain set in this lovely example of early 20th century design.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Pendant 2.2cm (5/8") in width, 4cm (1 5/8") in length including bale.
Total peridot weight estimated 1.5 carats.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests 15ct gold
