An unusual Edwardian rectangular gold double locket.
The locket with hinge to the base opening to reveal two photo compartments with gold interior bezel.
The locket has a dumbell shaped top with a loop for the runner ring it is beautifully engraved to both sides, the front with a shield within an acanthus leaf design and the reverse with a floral pattern.
The locket has a runner ring enabling it to be hung from a chain or ribbon. This beautiful locket is in wonderful condition with no dents or scratches.
Era: Edwardian 1901-1920
Measurements: Locket 2.6 cm in length, 1.8cm wide.
4.4 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Stamped Chester 9 375 with date letter for 1912, makers stamp TH
