A classic Edwardian sapphire 5 stone ring.
This elegant ring has 5 beautifully matched dark blue oval sapphires set within a boat shaped gold mount.
The gemstones are all finely claw set in gold and the ring has beautifully carved detailing to the shoulders typical of the jewellery of the early 20th Century.
The ring is very low set to the hand with a plain slightly tapered shank. It has been originally made specifically for a larger sized finger and as such can not be sized to a size smaller than 'O' / 7 1/4 / 55.
It would make a great engagement ring as the design is perfect for everyday wear.
