Georgian Turquoise & Pearl Ring c.1800
RG056
£0.00
A fabulous Georgian ring.
The ring has a pair of pearls and a pair of turquoise set around a small rose diamond, with rose diamond points to each corner. The ring has ornate scrollwork shoulders each set with a further turquoise onto a tapered shank. The design is larger than those typically seen at this point in jewellery design.
This beautiful ring sits low to the hand typical of the Georgian era, there is a space behind the head where there would have originally been a locket compartment (sadly long gone).
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces is a dress ring and will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
Era: Georgian, 1714 - 1837
Measurements: The head of the ring is 11.2 mm in diameter
Ring Size: O 1/2 (UK) 7.5 (US) 55 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmithat no extra cost but with some limitations due to the design.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 15ct gold
