Edwardian Diamond Knot Ring c.1915
£2,950.00
An unusually large Edwardian 18-carat gold knot ring.
This stylish ring has interwoven strands of gold in an intertwined knot design. It is composed of plain and decorated knots and has an old-cut diamond set at the centre in a star design, with smaller old-cut diamonds at each shoulder, also in diamond-shaped settings. The knot signifies the union of two people. There is evidence of some worn engraving on the knots consistent with the age of the ring.
This fabulous heavyweight ring is low-set on the hand and easy to wear with a wide band to the reverse.
It would be perfect as an alternative to a signet ring, great for everyday wear.
