A beautiful late Victorian garnet brooch.
The brooch has 5 beautifully matched almandine garnets in a row with a larger central stone. The gemstones are all mounted in a rich yellow gold with beadwork detailing between the garnets and a fine claw setting to the outer edge.
The brooch is open to the reverse and has a simple gold pin typocal of the end of the 20th Century. The garnets are all a vibrant red in colout and the brooch is in excellent condition.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901

it weighs 3.8 grams
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests 15ct gold
