This stylish Victorian Pearl & Ruby band ring was made in Birmingham, England in 1880. 

 

It is set with 4 natural half pearls to the centre in a square design with a ruby set on either side within a carved star motif.  The rubies are open to the reverse of the band allowing light through. They are a really pretty red in colour and well matched.

 

The pearls have a closed back and are in a spitch setting within a rub-over square border.  This lovely ring is low set to the hand typical of the era and is made from 15ct yellow gold.

 

Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901

Measurements: The ring measures 5.8mm in width, it weighs 3.2 grams

Ring Size: M (UK) 6.5 (US) 53 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith but with some restrictions due to the design.

Hallmarks: Makers stamp B&H (Blackman & Holtz) stamped 15 .625 (15ct gold)
