Victorian Sapphire and Diamond 3 Stone Ring c.1900
£3,500.00
A stylish late Victorian sapphire and diamond 3 stone ring.
This lovely ring has a cushion cut sapphire set to the centre with an old cut diamond to either side in a classic trilogy design. The gemstones are claw set in a fine coronet mount open to the reverse.
The sapphire is a lovely rich lively blue colour, (assumed natural colour Sri Lankan in origin). The ring has a very finely carved scrollwork shoulders onto a tapered yellow gold shank.
This was a design popular in the late Victorian period - it sits neatly on the hand and is easy to wear.
The ring is beautifully low set to the finger and wearable on an everyday basis. It would make a perfect engagement ring.
