A stylish vintage amethyst and diamond ring.
This unusual and typically 1970's ring has a striated amethyst crystal to the centre in assymetric gold claws within a brutalist textured finish. The ring has a diamond accent to one side within a square box setting. The ring has split shoulders which flow onto a slightly tapered plain gold shank.
The amethyst is a lovely colour which is complemented by the rich yellow of the gold.
The ring is fully hallmarked for Deacon & Francis, Birmingham and date stamped for 1972 - it is in excellent condition.
Era: Vintage, 1960 onwards

Head of the ring is 1.9cm at widest point.
