A pretty pair of Edwardian amethyst & pearl drop earrings.
These lovely earrings each have an old cut amethyst in a closed back rubover setting suspending a half pearl set drop. The openwork pearl section is articulated so they move freely when worn.
The earrings have hook fittings for pierced ears. The amethysts are a deep colour and are well matched. The earrings are finely made typical of the Edwardian era.
