A pretty pair of Edwardian rhodalite garnet earrings.
Each earring has 3 graduated garnets mounted in a 6 claw setting open to the reverse.
The garnets are a lovely colour and are well matched. The drops are articulated and move freely when worn. Rhodolite garnet is a vibrant, purplish-red gemstone with a slight colour change depending on the light.
They have hook fittings for pierced ears.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Earrings 2.5cm ( 1") in length, 1.7 grams in weight (pair)
Hallmarks: No assay marks, tests as 15ct gold
