A beautiful Edwardian amethyst shamrock brooch.
The brooch has 3 pear shaped amethysts each surrounded by small seed pearls in a stylised shamrock design on a gold branch with seed pearl 'buds.' The amethysts are beautifully matched and a rich purple in colour.
The pin has a safety clasp to the reverse keeping it safe when worn.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Brooch 4.2 cm in length, 2.1 cm at widest point, 5 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Stamped 15CT
