Georgian Seed Pearl & Emerald Ring c.1810
A pretty Regency ring set with a small emerald to the centre surrounded with a border of 6 beautifully matched natural seed pearls and small diamonds.
The ring has ornate shoulders and a partially engraved shank (with some wear consistent with age) and sits low to the hand. There is a space behing the head where there was originally a locket (sadly long gone).
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces is a dress ring and will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
