Victorian Citrine & Pearl Cluster Ring c.1880
An unusual late Victorian citrine & pearl cluster ring.
The ring has a rich oval facetted Madeira citrine to the centre surrounded with a border of half pearls in a closed back setting echoing an earlier Georgian design. The citrine is open to the reverse and is a beautiful warm orange in colour.
The ring has split laurel leaf design shoulders onto a rose gold triple reeded shank.
The ring sits low to the hand typical of the era. Due to the design we would suggest that this ring is not suitable for heavy everyday wear. The ring is in excellent condition, the pearls are beautifully matched and in great conditon.
