Victorian Bloodstone Signet Ring c.1873
An unusual late Victorian signet ring.
This stylish ring has an oval heliotrope bloodstone to the centre within a gold slightly raised border. The ring is made in a Gothic revial 'Pugin' style design with a hexagonal outer border with applied beadwork. It has tapered shoulders with a trefoil fretwork design which flow onto a plain shank.
The ring is very low set to the hand and in wonderful condition. It is in 15ct gold and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1873.
