A beautiful Victorian emerald and diamond cluster ring
This elegant ring has a square cut emerald surrounded with a border of old cut diamonds in a cushion design. The ring has reeded shoulders reminiscent of earier styles onto a plain shank and is low set onto a plain shank.
The ring is finely made in yellow gold with claw settings to the gemstones.
The ring could be worn as an engagement ring as long as it isn't receiving 'heavy' wear as emeralds are a softer gemstone.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Total diamond weight estimated 0.90 carats;
Emerald weight estimated 0.75 carats.
The head of the ring is 11.8mm in diameter.
