Victorian Lapis & Pearl 5 Stone Ring c.1890
An unusual Victorian lapis lazuli & pearl 5 stone ring.
This elegant ring has 3 cabochon cut round lapiz lazuli gemstones set with 2 half pearls in a classic 5 stone design. The gemstones are all claw set in yellow gold and the ring is open to the reverse.
The ring has slightly tapered shoulders onto a plain gold band and is in fabulous condition. It is low set to the hand typical of the era.
Lapis and pearl are relatively soft gems and as such we would not recommend this ring for 'heavy' every day wear.
