Victorian Pearl & Enamel Locket Ring c.1880
An unusual late Victorian pearl ring with a locket back.
This beautiful ring has a half pearl in a fine claw setting to the centre within an enamelled tapered head. The head of the ring is set with a small rose cut diamond to each side is a cut down star design. The tapered shoulders flow onto a gold shank in a design typical of the era.
This fabulous ring has a hidden locket to the reverse, originally for a lock of hair, only the wearer of the ring would have known that the locket was there.
The ring is low set to the finger and is in wonderful original condition.
Due to the enamel and the delicate nature of the ring we cannot resize the ring and suggest it is not suitable for everyday 'heavy' wear.
