A stylish mid century aquamarine ring 
 
The aquamarine is set within a wide scrollwork yellow gold border in a typically mid century design. The aquamarine is mounted in a rubover border and is a bright pale blue in colour.
 
The ring has tapered shoulders with banded detailing onto a wide yellow gold shank again typical of designs of the mid 20th century.
 
An easy to wear 'cocktail' ring being very comfortable when on the hand.
 
Era: Mid Century: c.1940 - 1960
Measurements: Aquamarine estimated 8 carats.The head of the ring is 1.9 cm (3/4") in length and 1.6 cm (5/8") in width

Hallmarks: Indistinct 585 stamp - tests as 14ct gold
