Art Deco Diamond Dress Clip c.1935
A stylish Art Deco diamond set single dress clip set with a combination of baguette diamonds and old-cut diamonds.
The clip is a typically deco shield design and is designed to be worn over clothing or on a chain or ribbon as a pendant. It has a hinged back with a serrated edge to secure it onto clothes when being worn. The diamond front has 2 small spikes to the reverse again to allow it to hold fast when being worn.
Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940
Measurements: Total diamond weight estimated 1.60 carats.
Clip 2.7cm in length, 1.8cm at widest point, 5.3 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests as platinum and white gold (with metal hinge)
