Art Deco French Cut Sapphire & Diamond Ring c.1925
An elegant early Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.
This beautiful ring has a line of 4 small French cut sapphires to the centre with 3 small diamonds set on either side in a cuyt cornered tablet design. The sapphires are a lovely bright blue which is complemented by the white of the diamonds.
The head of the ring is rubover set within a millgrain (serrated) edge onto tapered platinum topped shoulders onto a plain gold shank.
Typical of a ring from this era is it finely made and very low set to the finger. It would make a beautiful unique engagement ring.
