A fabulous Art Deco diamond brooch.
This large openwork plaque brooch is set with an old cut diamond to the centre within geometric openwork diamond set sections. These sections are set with old cut and baguette cut diamonds and is is a wonderful example of the era.
The open design allows the fabric on which the brooch is pinned to be seen. The diamonds are all in a rubover setting with a milgrain edge and the brooch is beautifully low set.
This brooch has a handmade screw fitting safety clasp to the pin at the reverse keeping it safe when worn.
It comes with the original fitted case.

Central old cut diamond 0.60 carat
The brooch is 5.5cm in length, 2.8cm at widest point.
