Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Ring c.1925
A stylish Art Deco sapphire & diamond ring.
This unusual ring has an old cut diamond in a slightly raised setting to the centre set between tapered sapphire set shoulders. The sapphires are each individually cut to make an elongated atepering effect. The setting of the diamond makes it appear larger than it is - this was a typical setting seen in French jewellery of the time.
The ring is beautifully made and incredibly low set to the hand, it is French marked to the reverse of the shank for 18ct white gold.
