Art Nouveau Diamond ‘Duchess' Ring c.1910
An unusual Art Nouveau ring sometimes referred to as a "Duchess ring"
The design has an old cut diamond set to the top with rose cut diamonds set top and bottom of a fine rose cut diamond set curved setting. The front of the ring is set in silver onto a rose coloured gold ground.
The ring is beautifully made and low set to the finger with a reeded shank. We believe this ring is probably French or European in origin but with the stamps removed at some time in the past.
