Diamond Solitaire Dormeuse Earrings c.1950
A stylish pair of diamond solitaire earrings.
Each earring has an early brilliant cut diamond estimated 0.85 - 0.90 carats in a fine 8 claw setting. The diamonds are both cut to appear slightly larger than their actual weight and look like they are 1 carat in size.
These beautiful diamonds are in a platinum setting onto a gold bezel and have gold sleeper (dormeuse) fittings allowing the diamonds to be worn securely. The fittings could be changed to a post and butterfly if required.
These elegant earrings would make a fabulous addition to any jewellery wardrobe and are incredibly wearable for any age or wearer or occasion.
