Edwardian Opal & Diamond Ring c.1910
An elegant Edwardian opal and diamond 3 stone ring.
This stylish ring has a cabochon opal in a fine claw set coronet mount with an old cut diamond to each side in a platinum coronet setting.
The ring has beautiful platinum faced tapered shoulders which flow onto a plain gold shank. The ring is low set to the hand typical of the era.
The opal has a good play of fire. The setting is open to the reverse allowing the full beauty of the opal to be displayed.
Era: Edwardian, c.1901 - 1920
Measurements: Opal estimated 1.3 carats, good play of colour - very minor abraisions consistent with age.
Total diamond weight estimated 0.70 carats.
