Edwardian Peridot Fringe Necklace c.1905
An elegant peridot and pearl fringe necklace from the early Edwardian era.
This beautiful piece is set with 11 oval peridots and half pearls each linked by a fine "knife edge" bar to a simple trace chain. This design makes the gemstones appear to float against the skin when worn.
The drops are all graduated forming a pretty fringe design when worn. The peridots are beautifully matched and an exceptionally good strong green in colour.
All of the gemstones are finely claw set typical of this period of jewellery.
The necklace has a bolt ring clasp and could be elongated or shortened if required.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
