A classic Edwardian sapphire and diamond three stone ring.
This classic design has a central oval sapphire in a fine six-claw scalloped coronet setting with an old cut diamond to each side. The ring has an openwork gallery and tapered shoulders with chenier detailing onto a plain gold shank, typical of the era.
The ring is very low set to the hand and is in fabulous condition.
The sapphire is a wonderful rich blue in colour, in keeping with the Sri Lankan gemstones of the period, and this beautiful ring would be perfect for everyday wear, potentially making a great engagement ring.
