An elegant Edwardian sapphire and diamond 5 stone ring.
This lovely ring has 3 old cut sapphires and 2 old cut diamonds in a rub over setting with millgrain edges.
The sapphires are beautifully matched and a pretty vivid blue in colour, complemented by the white of the old cut diamonds.
This ring is very finely made with a platinum head to a gold openwork gallery onto tapered yellow gold shoulders and a plain shank, this was very typical of the era.
The ring is low set to the hand and perfect for everday wear. It would make a fabulous engagement ring.
