Georgian Citrine & Ruby Brooch/Pendant c.1820
An unusual Regency gemset brooch/pendant.
This stylish brooch has a central oval yellow citrine in a raised gold mount surrounded with a border of gold leaves and stylised ruby flowers. It is typically early 19th Century in design with applied beadwork and engraved detailing to the leaves.
The pendant is in beautiful condition and has its original ruby set runner ring to the top.
There is a simple gold sprung pin to the reverse of the pendant allowing it to be worn as a brooch.
Era Georgian: 1714 - 1837
Measurements: Pendant 2.8cm wide, 3cm in length (including bail).
