Regency Pearl 7 Stone Ring circa. 1820
RP046
£0.00
An elegant late Georgian pearl ring.
This wonderful Recency era ring has 7 natural half pearls in a closed reverse setting. The pearls are in a 'cut down' setting typical of the start of the 19th Century. The ring has tapered triple reeded shoulders which are beautifully figured onto a slightly tapered reeded shank.
In common with the late Regency period the ring is closed to the reverse and low set to the hand. We cannot resize this ring due to the nature of its construction and design.
We believe the pearls are original to the ring and are a warm cream to pinkish yellow in colour - they are in good condition with no cracks or discoloration other than in line with gentle wear over the years.
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and condition are increasingly hard to find.
