Victorian Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring - French c.1900
An elegant late Victorian emerald and diamond cluster ring.
This beautiful ring has a rich green emerald-cut emerald to the centre in a gold rub over setting. The emerald is mounted within two rows of small rose cut diamonds in an octagonal double border design.
The ring has rose-cut diamond 'split' shoulders onto a reeded shank. All the diamonds are spitch set typical of the late 19th century.
This stylish ring is finely made and low set to the hand. The ring is French and the base of the shank is stamped for 18ct gold (Eagles Head) with an indistinct makers mark.
