Victorian Ruby and Pearl Hearts Ring c.1873

SKU RR069
Price

£995.00

A romantic Victorian double-heart ring, symbolising everlasting love.

One heart is set with 10 small facetted rubies and the other with half pearls within a gold outset border. The two hearts are intertwined, a classic motif of fidelity and union.

The ring is finely crafted in yellow gold with a twisted split shank typical of the Pugin influence of the time. It is in excellent condition.

This lovely ring is very low set typical of the era and sits neatly on the hand when worn.  We would not recommend this ring for heavy wear due to the pearls.

Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920

Measurements: Head of ring is 1.3cm at widest point

Ring Size:  M (UK) 6½ (US) 53 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with restrictions due to the fabulous hallmarks and stamps in the shank.
