An elegant late Victorian sapphire & diamond cluster ring.
The ring has a cushion cut sapphire to the centre surrounded by 12 small old cut diamonds in a classic cluster design. The stones are all finely claw set and open to the reverse. The ring has unusual stylised ancanthus leaf design tapered shoulders onto a plain band.
This lovely ring is is low set to the finger and in wonderful condition, it would make a fabulous unique engagement ring.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Sapphire estimated 0.60 carats,
Old-cut diamonds total weight estimated 0.40 carats
Head of ring 9 mm wide.
