Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring c.1900
An unusual Victorian sapphire and diamond cluster ring.
This lovely ring has 6 sapphires set around a central old cut diamond within a rose cut diamond hexagonal cluster. The old cut diamond and sapphires are molunted in a gold grain setting. The outer border of rose cut diamonds are in a 'cut down' setting typical of the Victorian era.
The ring has a beautifully detailed scalloped gallery and is low set to the hand.
The ring has triple 'split' shoulders onto a plain gold shank with a triple grooved detail to the top. It is in beautiful condition.
