An unusual late Victorian sapphire and diamond marquise ring.
The ring has a beautiful rich blue sapphire to the centre set with 3 small old cut diamonds the top and bottom in a marquise shape. The gemstones are all open to the reverse.
The ring has finely scrolled 'split' shoulders and is very low-set to the finger. The shoulders flow onto a plain gold shank.
The lovely ring is perfect for everyday wear and would make a great unique engagement ring.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Sapphire estimated 0.40 carats;
old-cut diamonds total weight estimated 0.30 carats;
Head of ring 13.6mm in length.
Ring Size: N (UK) 7 (US) 54 (EUR). This ring can be resized by our goldsmith at no extra cost but with some restrictions due to the design.
