Victorian Turquoise Ball Earrings c.1880
A pair of Victorian turquoise ball earings.
The earrings are each made up of a series of small cabochon cut turqoise stones set in a ball with a gold setting to the top and bottom. They have gold hook fittings for pierced ears and hang freely with great movement when worn.
The turquoise gemstones are well matched and a vibrant colour (with slight discolouration to a few stones consistent with age).
Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901
Measurements: Balls are 11mm in diameter,
Earrings 2cm (3/4 inches) in length from top of hook
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests as gold
