Art Nouveau Turquoise and Diamond Earrings c.1905
£1,750.00
A beautifully elegant pair of Art Nouveau turquoise and diamond earrings.
These lovely earrings have a bright oval cabochon turquoise to the centre set within an openwork pear shaped drop. They are accented with small diamonds suspended from an articulated diamond set fine bar.
Typical of the Art Nouveau period they emulate a flowing natural form of design. They are fronted in platinum with a gold reverse and hang from long gold shepherd's hook fittings for pierced ears.
The Art Nouveau jewellery period is synonymous with sinuous, asymmetric lines and soft colour palettes and these earrings typify this era perfectly.
