Edwardian Amethyst & Pearl Cluster Ring c.1905
An unusual Edwardian amethyst & pearl cluster ring.
This pretty ring has a central bright amethyst surrounded with 10 half pearls in a classic cluster design. The amethyst is in a rubover setting with a milgrain edge and the pearls are 'grain' set within a raised outer border with a milgrain edge.
The ring is mounted in a 'buttery' yellow gold with a scalloped underbezel. The ring has slightly tapered shoulders onto a yellow gold shank (currently with beads to stop it spinning - these can be removed if required). It is in fabulous condition.
Typically Edwardian in design, the ring is very low set to the finger and finely made.
