Edwardian Opal Necklace c.1910
A classic Edwardian opal drop necklace.
This elegant neckace has a cut cornered rectangular opal to the top suspending a larger opal to the base. The opals are both mounted with a gold fine double 4 claw open backed setting.
Each individual section is articulated and the beautifully matched opals have a good play of 'fire'.
The pendant is made in 9ct yellow gold and is suspended from a fine gold trace chain with its original bolt ring fixing.
