Victorian Cabochon Garnet Cufflinks c.1890
An unusual pair of late Victorian cabochon garnet cufflinks.
The cufflinks have 4 beautifully matched almandine garnet gemstones each cut into a rectangular cabochon shape. The garnets are simply mounted in a gold rubover setting open to the reverse. Each cufflink is joined by a simple triple link, typical of the era.
The cufflinks are in lovely condition.
Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901
Measurements: Each cufflink 1.3cm in length, 1.1cm wide, 12.5 grams in weight (pair)
Hallmarks: Unmarked tests 18ct gold mounts with 15ct gold links
