Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring c.1920
An elegant Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring.
This classic ring has a mixed cut sapphire to the centre finely claw set in gold, surrounded by 10 old cut diamonds in an oval cluster design.
The sapphire is slightly raised above the diamonds and is a vivid blue colour perfectly complemented by the white of the diamonds.
The gemstones are mounted within a handmade rose gold coronet style mount with a grooved under bezel. This leads onto slightly tapered shoulders and a plain shank.
The ring is finely made and sits low to the hand typical of the Edwardian era. It is perfect for everyday wear and would make a wonderful engagement ring.
