A fancy linked long silver guard chain.
 
This lovely long chain is made of fancy knotted silver sections joined by large trace and round links. The knotted sections have a reeded outer with a knot over the centre. The chain has a bolt ring fitting to one end to suspend a fob or locket.  
 
The chain is a great example of the French style from this Deco era.
