Regency Citrine & Pearl Ring c.1816
A beautiful Georgian memorial ring.
The ring set with a central foiled oval citrine closed to the reverse, surrounded by 8 natural seed pearls.
The head has seed pearls set onto the shoulders with a heavily shaped shank. There is an engraving to the reverse with the date "30th Apr 1816".
This lovely ring has eveidence of an earlier repair to the underside of the shoulders consistent with age. Georgian rings of this age are increasingly difficult to find in such good condition.
