A quirky early 20th Century spider brooch.
 
The realistically figured gold spider has small cabochon ruby eyes, a pearl set to the body and a beautifully enamelled striped abdomen.
 
The brooch has a sprung pin to the reverse.
 
The brooch could if required be converted to a pendant.
 
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Brooch is 2.6cm (1") in length, 2.8 cm (1 1/8")at widest point, 4.5 grams in weight
Hallmarks: Unmarked tests 18ct gold
